Mike Butz has been named to the prestigious Lehigh Valley Business 40 Under 40 list for 2025. This honor recognizes young professionals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and a deep commitment to community service across the Greater Lehigh Valley.

As a sixth-generation builder, Mike has continued the legacy of the Butz family while driving innovation and operational excellence. Since joining the company, he has led transformative projects including the $150 million B. Braun Medical, Inc. 939 Expansion, the new $75 million Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion, and the $35 million Allentown Panel Shop prefabrication facility.  Under Mike’s leadership, Alvin H. Butz, Inc. has embraced Lean construction methodologies and Integrated Project Delivery, integrating advanced technologies such as modeling, drones, and data analytics to enhance project planning and execution. Beyond his professional achievements, Mike is active in the community. He serves on several boards including the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, and Valley Youth House, among others. Mike was honored at the Forty Under 40 Awards celebration at DeSales University Campus Center in Center Valley.
