Alexander is seeking an MEP Project Manager with a minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer in commercial construction or institutional buildings, and thorough knowledge of MEP construction. This candidate will provide overall project management of, and leadership for MEP and Fire Protection Trades on multiple projects. Typical duties include: developing and maintaining a positive relationship with MEP subcontractors serving the Harrisburg area, producing estimates, providing review of the design concepts and offer Value Engineering concepts and cost analysis, developing ‘scope of work’ for MEP trades, provide input for the development and maintenance of project schedule, participate in periodic progress meetings, receive, review and approve monthly MEP subcontractor, vendor invoices and change orders, oversee the quality of the MEP field-installed work, and ensure that the MEP aspects of the job are closed out in a timely manner. A working knowledge of 3D coordination and/or BIM is preferred. Candidate must possess either a four-year engineering, architectural or other relevant technical degree or equivalent job experience.
