This new 3-story building will provide up to 60,000 SF of state-of-the-art classroom and academic space for the campus. Key features include:

  • Combination of 60-, 80-, and 120-seat classrooms with a combination of active learning components to include group study, creative commons and breakout areas
  • Attached chilled water plant
  • Serve as a sustainability hub with LEED Certification
  • Expansion of campus parking facilities
  • Student engagement initiatives

The 4,500 SF centralized chilled water plant will include (2) 750-ton chillers and campus loop piping and have spare room for two future additional 750-ton chillers to be added later. The plant will connect to the existing chillers in the Hanes Library Building and Student Enrichment Center with the capacity to expand and potentially provide chilled water to the Swatara, CUB, Science and Tech, and Olmstead Buildings in the future.
