Hershey’s Chocolatetown is a two-story, precast and brick facade building that provides year-round dining and retail offerings for guests. Chocolatier, a full-service restaurant, bar, and patio features past and present pieces from the Hersheypark ride collection, one-of-a-kind views of neighboring attractions, and a second-story patio/bar. It has three elevators, numerous walk-in refrigerators/freezers, two commercial kitchens, loading dock, storage area, offices, and restrooms. The Sweeterie is a scratch confectionery kitchen offering mouth-watering confections. Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor was inspired by Mr. Hershey’s malt shop on Philadelphia’s Spring Garden Street. Hersheypark Supply Co. is a premier, 10,000 square foot flagship store where guests can browse the largest collection of apparel, gifts, and toys exclusive to Hersheypark. The building was constructed on a tight footprint at the park’s main entrance. Early planning meetings developed Conditions of Satisfaction and identified critical items. Key Performance Indicators measured our success and potential challenges.
