The 5-story critical care building increased the campus size by 50%. The new facility houses a 35,000 square foot emergency department with 26 treatment bays, a CT scan and X-ray room, triage, and administration. The building was constructed using LEED guidelines and is LEED Silver certified. The project also earned the coveted 2010 VISTA award from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering – an award which recognizes exceptional teamwork in health care design and construction.

Vista Award
Landing the Vista Award symbolizes an achievement for a very difficult construction project, executed in an exemplary, professional manner. The honest and direct team approach was embraced and fostered a clear understanding that any problem encountered by a team member was a problem to be resolved by the entire group.
