Resurrected Life Community Church Breaks Ground in Downtown Allentown

On August 12, 2025, the Resurrected Life Community Church held a vibrant and heartfelt groundbreaking ceremony at 916 W Turner Street in downtown Allentown, marking the beginning of a transformative new chapter for the congregation and the surrounding community.

Alvin H. Butz, Inc. is honored to serve as the construction management partner for this historic and deeply meaningful project. The church’s vision—to restore Zion’s Church and renovate its academy building into a first-class educational facility—embodies a commitment to community, faith, and opportunity. We are proud to help bring this vision to life.

This project is more than bricks and mortar. It’s a symbol of renewal and resilience. From the earliest planning stages, Butz has worked closely with Resurrected Life to ensure the construction process reflects the church’s identity and values. Together, we’ve prioritized inclusive outreach, hosting multiple DBE information sessions to engage local minority- and women-owned businesses in the bidding process.

The groundbreaking event was a celebration of collaboration, featuring renderings, signage, and community participation. Our team is especially grateful to partners like AIM Development Group, Finanta, and the City of Allentown for their support in making this moment possible. We are excited and grateful to be part of this journey. The Resurrected Life Community Church project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when purpose-driven organizations come together to build something lasting. We look forward to continuing our work with the church and the community to deliver a space that uplifts, educates, and inspires.
