Butz B. Braun Expansion Project Recognized as an OSHA Success Story

The Butz/B. Braun 939 Expansion construction project partnership is being recognized nationally on OSHA’s website and shared as one of OSHA Partnership’s Success Stories.

The objective of OSHA Strategic Partnerships is to establish early goals and safety measures that focus on improving safety and health where OSHA has jurisdiction, such as a large construction project. Committed to a pro-active safety culture, OSHA and Butz signed a Strategic Partnership in the early days of the B. Braun Medical, Inc. expansion project. The Butz team welcomed the challenge of delivering a best-in-class medical device manufacturing facility. During the 38-month partnership, Butz excelled in its safety leadership, concluding with a 0.73 OSHA project safety rate. The project is in its final months and continues to manage the risk, reaching more than 1,000 Safe Days without an OSHA Recordable.
