The Butz Family of Companies proudly participated in the 2025 Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Congress, held in Arlington, Texas. This year marked a milestone for our team, with a record number of 11 employees attending the event; underscoring our commitment to continuous improvement and Lean practices across all projects.

Emily Lowe, LCI-CPC, LCI-CPD-SME, CM-Lean, Director of Lean for the Butz Family of Companies, shared her thoughts on the event, saying  “LCI Congress gave our team the chance to learn, grow, and connect in powerful ways.  The lessons we took away – both from the sessions and from each other – will help us bring new energy and ideas back to the Enterprise, making us all better together.”

During the conference, Emily and Kyle Collina, Project Executive, presented “Big Room Strategies for Even BIGGER Project Success!” Joined by representatives from Snyder Hoffman and Southland Technologies, they showcased how Big Room environments foster collaboration, transparency, and innovation. Drawing from a major healthcare construction project in the Lehigh Valley, their presentation highlighted practical strategies and lessons learned that helped streamline workflows and deliver exceptional results.

The LCI Congress is a premier gathering for professionals dedicated to advancing Lean principles in the construction industry. Attendees engaged in collaborative sessions, explored innovative strategies, and shared best practices to enhance project delivery and client value.
